Rules of Play
1. We reserve the right to refuse play for misconduct.
2. All play begins on No. 1 unless directed otherwise.
3. Players use course at own risk.
4. U.S.G.A. Rules govern all play except where modified by local rules.
5. As a courtesy on the course, please allow faster players through.
6. Fix your ball marks and replace divots.
7. Rake sand bunkers after use.
8. NO CARTS IN NATURAL AREAS - #3, #4, #9
9. Keep carts on cart paths.
10. Play winter rules.
11. Fences or white stakes out of bounds left on #1, 4, 5 & behind #1 and #9.
12. Creeks on #1 & #4 are water hazards.
13. Pond on #2 is lateral water hazard as defined by yellow stakes.
14. Creek behind #2 is lateral water hazard as defined by red stakes.
15. Ball in water hazard on #2 pond may hit 3rd shot from drop area.
16. Lateral water hazard along left side and behind green on hole #3 as defined by red stakes.
17. White stakes along right side of #9 out of bounds on tee shot only. Course Rules & Regulations · All golfers, members, and guests are required to register at the clubhouse before starting play. · All membership dues are cart shed fees are due April 1 and are delinquent after May 1. Golfers must pay green fees until all dues and cart shed fees are paid in full (green fees will not be applied). · Soft spikes only are allowed on the course. Shirts are to be worn at all times. Please replace divots and fix ball marks. · Beverages may be taken from the clubhouse on to the golf course. Please deposit empty containers in trash containers and help keep our course clean. · No one under the age of 21 will be allowed to consume alcohol on the course or grounds. Any club member or employee of the Ainsworth Municipal Golf Course who observes anyone under 21 years of age drinking alcohol on course grounds shall bring the matter to the Board of Directors. · Outside groups may reserve the cluuse for parties, meetings, receptions, etc. There is no fee if the Club caters the food. For groups providing their own food, there will be a user fee of $75.00. If drinks are to be served at any private parties, meetings, etc. they shall be purchased at the bar and the Club will furnish the bartender. No one shall be permitted behind the bar except personnel approved by the Clubhouse Manager and/or the Board of Directors. All scheduling must be cleared by the manager. · For groups wanting the hold a league or a private tournament, there will be a course fee of $500 for a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday - $250 for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday. All leagues and tournaments are subject to approval of the Board of Directors. · Golf course rental carts shall only be rented to and operated by persons 16 years of age or older. Member (privately) owned carts may be operated by persons 12 years of age or older with written consent of owner. Persons younger than 12 years of age may operate private carts only if accompanied by a parent. · Club Members who rent cart space from the Ainsworth Municipal Golf Course are responsible for insurance of their golf carts, golf clubs, or anything else left at the Golf Course or in one of the Golf Cart Sheds. The Ainsworth Municipal Golf Course does not carry insurance on the contents of the golf sheds, only the structures. · The Board of Directors reserves the right to immediately suspend the playing privileges of anyone who violates or ignores the regulations and policies of the Ainsworth Municipal Golf Association. Please use courtesy and common sense at all times.
